Level 4 Task: Analyzing Perspectives (15 XP)
Farmer Pat: Imagine you are a 60 year old farmer named Pat living in Lincoln, Maine in the year 1920. You have seen a lot in your 60 years, as industrialization has swept across the world during your lifetime. Brainstorm a list of changes caused by the Industrial Revolution Farmer Pat has probably seen and experienced between 1860 and 1920.
Factory Worker Casey: Next, imagine you are a young factory worker in Boston, Massachusetts in 1920 named Casey. You are now in your 30s, but you've worked in this factory since you were 6 years old. Even at your young age, you have experienced many changes because of the Industrial Revolution. Brainstorm a list of things Casey has experienced and changes that she has seen.

Task: Now, compare the perspective of Farmer Pat to the perspective of Factory Worker Casey. What are things they both experienced throughout the Industrial Revolution? Changes they both saw/went through? What are things that one experienced, but the other did not? How do those experiences affect their outlook on their job? On their whole life? On America?
